Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia informs, that on the first April 2009 entered into force in Serbia a new Law on Residence of Aliens, which allows citiziens of countries European Union the entry in Serbia only for holders of passports.
The new Law does not allow exposure to the tourist passes to the identity card. The new Law does not permit a person, who arrives to the Serbian border crossing / airport with identification card, that was exposed for a fee "tourist pass“, which in the past, such a person (eg, participant residence tour organized travel agent in another country) could transit through the Republic of Serbia and vice versa.
