Cans of Marijuana Labeled Pacific Green Spinach

When Florida truck driver Denny Brady stopped at a Gallup, NM, highway weight station, inspectors noticed most cans on the 4 pallets of canned spinach didn't have labels.

After checking, it was discovered that the actual weight of the cans didn't match the weight printed on the labels. Further inspection disclosed 1,200 lbs. of pot in cans labeled Pacific Green Spinach.

The East bound truck was transporting the California export possibly back to Brady's hometown of Frostproof, Florida. The DEA estimated the delivery's value at $1.5 million.
