Jahnatek admitted reduction of prices of gas for the households

Prices of the natural gas for households could decrease. Minister of Economy Lubomir Jahnatek (Smer-SD) admitted this in discussion programme of Slovak Television “ O 5 minut 12“ today.

He suggests that in May or June the Agency for Regulation of Network Departments could have real estimation of prices for this and next year. The Slovak Gas Industry (SPP) will not change prices according to this agency. SPP will reduce the prices of the natural gas for retailers from April. Prices are evaluated in the period 9-months and in this year the price will be regulated again, he explained.

Janiš claims that the government should begin with the foundation of the deduction immediately after the admission of anticyclical measures. But the first one can be made after some period of time according to him. „In May or in June,“ he added.
